April 25 2025 O'Neill CVI Communications
Dear Parents/Guardians,
A few messages, events, and dates to share before we head into the weekend;
Congratulations to Isabelle M. on winning silver at LOSSA yesterday. She will be moving on to OFSAA next week! Congratulations Isabelle and good luck at OFSAA! And congratulations to all of our players yesterday and our team this season, you have all played incredibly well and we are all so proud of all of you. Thank you to our coaches Ms. Bernard and Ms. Allen for a great season!
This past week has been dedicated to Earth Week, featuring our Eco Club spirit-wear days, daily eco-challenges, and fun environmental facts. Today, our Eco Club concluded the week by leading a community clean-up event in and around O’Neill and surrounding areas. Lots of students got involved and our community looks a lot cleaner! Thank you to all that participated and to Ms. Shafiq for your guidance! Let’s all work together to keep our environment clean!
Ms. Kenny, Mr. Paterson and Ms. Sweet took some students on Wednesday to Lakeridge Health Oshawa to attend the Lakeridge Pathways to Care event. The students had the opportunity to explore the diverse and dynamic career opportunities in healthcare, through interactive experiences, inspiring speakers, and hands-on activities. Check out our Instagram for pics!
Remember: Semester Two Mid-Term Reports Cards went home this week on Tuesday. Please check your emails and you will need your child’s OEN to open.
