Dear Parents/Guardians,

Happy Friday everyone! A few short messages, events and dates to share;

We had our Neon Nights Dance last night and it was such a success! Students danced and had so much fun through the night right up until the last song. A HUGE thank you to our Leadership Camp Committee students and their teacher supervisors for pulling together such a great night!  Another HUGE thank you to our Staff supervisors last night for helping make the night run smoothly! All monies raised from our dance goes towards our Leadership camp in May, so thank you to all who attended!

We have been extremely busy this semester, but we are not forgetting to recognize some fantastic students for our Character Trait Awards.We are sending out a huge congratulations to Jasiah L., Emily F. and Jayden BP., for winning the February Character Trait award for EMPATHY! You showed us your compassion, understanding and kindness, and always respected and connected with others in meaningful ways. Congrats!

And for the March Character Trait award for COURAGE, we send out another huge congratulations to Winona R., Miya L. and Elijah N. You all demonstrated courage while encouraging others to face challenges and stand for what is right. You were advocating for yourselves and others and stood out amongst the rest. Congratulations!

In April we are celebrating TEAMWORK! We expect to see our Redhawks working cooperatively, valuing the opinions of others, and encouraging others to participate! Staff are watching!

Celebrations!

Congratulations to our Robotics Team of Jakob H., Ammar A., Dylan H., and Wang Chun L. for qualifying for Skills Ontario Provincials taking place in Toronto next month! They have all worked so hard this year and we are super proud of all of them! Good luck!

Congratulations to our Badminton Singles Players, Isabelle M., and Bentley N. who played extremely well and will compete at LOSSA at the end of the month! Good luck to you both!
