O’Neill CVI Communications: For Grades 9 and 10 ONLY- Leadership Camp

Dear Grade 9 and 10 Parents/Guardians,

We would like to invite any interested grade 9 and 10 students to participate in our 15th annual Leadership Camp.  We will be travelling to Camp Muskoka from Friday May 23 - Sunday May 25, 2025 with approximately 85 campers and our committee of grade 11 and 12 student counsellors.  Students will participate in a variety of workshops and outdoor activities all aimed at building community and developing their leadership skills. 

Paper copies of the attached permission form package were distributed at our information meeting, but are also available in the Guidance Office.  The cost of the trip is $280.  We are asking for a deposit of $100 to be made now with the full balance to be paid by April 30th.  Payments can be made through School Cash Online or students can speak to Ms.Aunger in Guidance if they need to make arrangements to pay by another means.

We are aware that some families may be concerned about paying the $280 fee.  We have some access to funding to subsidize students with financial need.  Please contact Ms.Aunger if you would like to discuss these options further.  She can be reached in the Guidance Office at (905)728-7531, x201023 or lisa.aunger@ddsb.ca.  

We are expected to fill our 85 spots.  In order to secure your registration for camp, students must:

  1. Return the completed permission form package to Ms.Aunger in the Guidance Office
  2. Pay the $100 deposit through School Cash Online or by speaking to Ms.Aunger about alternative methods of payment.
  3. Join the Leadership Camp 2025 Google Classroom and submit the Camp Muskoka fillable registration form.  Google Classroom Code:  mcse5ny
